Last week on the radio show I talked about organizing books. You can click on the link to hear the entire replay.
Here are some tips that I shared:
1.) Identify the problem. Too many books? Too many locations?
2.) Gather the books from all locations and separate into categories (author, genre, etc)
3.) Purge. Swap books with friends, donate to charity, thrift stores, etc
4.) Organize. This can be done by size, topic, color, author, genre- you name it.
5.) Decorate with books. Books can be a lovely decorative element in a home. They don’t just have to be stored upright on a book shelf.
Do you have any ideas for organizing books? Post it in the comments below.
Friday’s show will focus on being an organized pet owner.
